Abundant Counter Space

Purchased for a Change

Our homeowner decided to move to the country and a newly constructed home. After awhile, she realized that she enjoyed a more urban lifestyle nearer friends and family. A compromise was found in a 1950’s ranch in suburban Milwaukie. She knew upon purchase that she would be remodeling the cramped inefficient kitchen. Her contractor, Thurston Macom Construction, suggested that she visit North Pacific Supply Co. where she met with designer Michelle Hanada. The priorities for the remodel were discussed: gain an efficient kitchen with ample counter space that would open into the dining/family area. After listening to the homeowner’s wish list, Michelle designed a kitchen to meet that list. The contractor removed a wall and changed electrical as needed for the new appliance locations before the cabinet installation.
